Business (almost) as usual at Scarf Family Law – a Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

We would like to acknowledge the significant impact the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having on individuals, communities and businesses across our daily life in Australia and indeed the world. Our thoughts go out to those directly impacted by the crisis.
We take this opportunity to let you know that, whilst we are putting measures into place to reduce staff and client’s exposure to COVID-19, we remain fully operational in these challenging times across all services that we provide, and our office hours remain unchanged.
In this regard, we have implemented internal policies whereby our staff are working remotely and remain fully accessible by both email and phone using our secure technology infrastructure and systems to support continuity of service and only attending the office on a limited basis, where necessary. Mediations, Barristers Conferences and Court appearances will be conducted via teleconference or video link wherever possible to ensure public health and safety, whilst continuing to progress your matter as needed. We are receiving daily briefs from the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court as to best practise techniques in accordance with Australian Government guidelines, which we will pass onto each client as necessary.
We place great value and emphasis on all our relationships, the health and wellbeing of both our clients and staff will always come first. We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and will advise you of any changes to our operations required as a result of further restrictions imposed.
